  • June 26: Earliest date that medical schools will receive verified primary AMCAS applications
July 2026
  • Begin sending JABSOM secondary applications

  • July 31: Latest AAMC Preview Professional Readiness Exam scores for Early decision Program (EDP) application.  The exam must be taken by July 31, 2026.

  • ʻImi Hoʻōla Post-Baccalaureate Program applications available
August 2026
  • Invitations to interview begins

  • August 3: AMCAS Early Decision Program (EDP) application and transcript deadline (11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time)

  • EDP invitations to interview sent via email to applicants
September 2026
  • September: Regular MD program invitations to interview sent via email to applicants

  • September 30: MCAT latest test scores for 2027 application.  The test must be taken by September 30, 2026
October 2026
  • October: FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) available

  • October 31: AAMC PREview™ latest test scores for 2027 application.  The test must be taken by October 31, 2026
November 2026
  • November 2: ʻImi Hoʻōla Post-Baccalaureate Program application deadline

  • November 2: AMCAS Regular MD Program application deadline (11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time)

  • November 16: AMCAS Regular application transcript deadline (11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time)

  • February 5: JABSOM deadline to complete all interviews

  • February 19: "Plan to Enroll"* option becomes available for accepted applicants in AMCAS through the "Choose Your Medical School Tool"

  • ʻImi Hoʻōla Post-Baccalaureate Program Notification of Admissions Decisions sent out

  • JABSOM Matriculation Forms sent to accepted applicants

  • May 14: JABSOM Deadline for all accepted students to the entering 2027 class should now select "Commit to Enroll" in the AAMC Choose Your Medical School Tool.  This indicates that you have withdrawn all other applications, including waitlist positions from other schools, and that you are committed to one final acceptance.

Appendix (for 2027 admissions cycle):

*Plan to Enroll:  On February 19, 2027, accepted applicants can begin to select “Plan to Enroll” for their top medical school choice in the AMCAS Choose Your Medical School Tool.  Applicants may hold waitlist positions at other schools and can continue to hold multiple acceptances until April 30th.  We ask that you choose this action as early as possible if our school is your top choice.

**Commit to Enroll:  On April 30, 2027, accepted applicants can begin to select “Commit to Enroll” when they are ready to make their final selection in the AMCAS Choose Your Medical School Tool.  This indicates that you have withdrawn all other applications, including waitlist positions from other schools, and that you are committed to one final acceptance.
